Spray extinguishing systems consist of a ceiling pipeline network with open nozzles at regular intervals. Fires are detected with a fire alarm system or a second stimulator pipeline network which is under pressure. After a fire is detected, all nozzles begin to spray at the same time so that the extinguishing agent is applied to the entire area covered by the system.
Spray extinguishing systems are used in spaces in which fires would spread quickly and/or a great fire load is present.
